Since September 2019, under PSD2, it is mandatory to periodically perform Strong Authentication of customers when accessing digital channels and also when validating most operations. For this, it is essential that you have your cell phone certified with BBVA to be able to access the BBVA Mobile app and home banking.

With the BBVA Mobile app, you can manage your daily operations and take out new products using your cell phone. Talking with your adviser is convenient, fast, and interactive through the chat available on Secure Mail.

Financial management for your day-to-day, effortlessly from your cell phone:

  • See your balance and transactions of all your products at BBVA;
  • Transfers: make your payments or transfers on the spot or program them for whatever date you wish;
  • Payments and charges: make your utility bill, state, social security and cell phone payments, among others;
  • Manage your cards online: activate and/or cancel your debit and credit cards, see your transactions or make payments in installments whenever you need to, and temporarily block and unblock features of your credit card.
  • Sign up for a savings plan: Apply for one of our time deposits or sign up for one of our investment funds from wherever you are without delay;
  • Sign all your contracts and documents digitally: sign all the documents/contracts your advisor sends you, without having to go to the bank, thanks to the new Secure Mail feature available on the app. In addition, talk to your adviser through the Chat feature without having to wait in line.
  • Always with the utmost security: in order to guarantee the utmost security for your online operations, a strong authentication will be required for you to validate operations made through our digital channels. This is done by entering an OTP which you will receive by text message on your cell phone at the time of the transaction.

All this, without having to go to the bank.
