BBVA Serviços Mínimos Bancários Account
A demand deposit account that offers you a set of Minimum Banking Services:- Opening, maintaining, managing, holdership, and closing of a demand deposit account – minimum banking services account.
- Issuance of a BBVA Agora Debit Card for each account holder.
- Access to Serviços Mínimos Bancários Account transactions at ATMs within the European Union, on the home banking service, and at BBVA branches.
- Execution of the following banking operations from your account:
- cash deposits and withdrawals;
- payment for goods and services;
- direct debit;
- intrabank credit transfers (with no restrictions on the number of operations that can be carried out);
- SEPA+ credit transfers performed at ATMs;
- 48 SEPA+ credit transfers and/or SEPA+ standing orders per calendar year (in Portugal or the European Union) executed through homebanking on BBVA.pt (online) or the BBVA Mobile app (mobile device);
- 5 monthly transfers, with a limit of €30 each, performed through payment applications operated by third parties.
This account allows you to take out other products and services not included in the minimum banking services, to which the commissions provided for in the current Price List will be applied.

BBVA Serviços Mínimos Bancários Account
- Individuals without current accounts or who have only one current account can use Minimum Banking Services. This extends to any consumer who has the right to live in a Member State due to the fact they are a European Union national or citizen of a European Union country.
- Individuals over 65 years of age or with a permanent disability equal to or greater than 60% and the natural persons who are joint holders of a Minimum Baking Services account can access Minimum Banking Services under special conditions.
- Access to a Minimum Banking Services account is not dependent on the acquisition of other products or services.
- Holders of Minimum Banking Services may not hold other demand deposit accounts and must carry out at least one transaction included in the Minimum Banking Services during each 24-month period.

In your BBVA Serviços Mínimos Bancários Account
The Serviços Mínimos Bancários is a demand deposit account that includes a set of Minimum Banking Services and has an annual maintenance fee of €4.20 (corresponds to the annual commission of €4.08 plus stamp duty at a rate of 4%, or €0.12). This commission is charged monthly in the amount of €0.35 (corresponds to the monthly commission of €0.34 plus the respective stamp duty at the rate of 4%, or €0.01). This value cannot exceed 1% of the value of the social support index (IAS, acronym in Portuguese).
The products and services taken out under this account that are not included in the Minimum Banking Services will be subject to the commissions provided for in the current Price List.

Account closure
To request account closure, you must complete the account closure form.
If you have credit agreements associated with your checking account and wish to have your installments debited at another credit institution (OIC) and/or wish to have the amount owed associated with your card(s) paid at an OIC, you must complete the documents below relating to the Account Debit Authorization (ADC):
These documents must be duly signed by all account holders and completed with the authorization of the procedures to be carried out by the Bank for each of the credit products.
The account closure form should be sent to the email address encerramentoconta.pt@bbva.com. Alternatively, it can be sent via registered mail to BBVA, SA – Branch in Portugal, Attention: Operational Control, located at Av. da Liberdade 222, 4th Floor, 1250-148 Lisbon or delivered in person to a BBVA branch.
