Account closure
To proceed with the account closure request, you must complete the account closure form.
If you have credit agreements associated with your current account and wish for the installments to be debited from Another Credit Institution (OIC) and/or wish for the payment of the outstanding amount associated with the Card(s) to be made to an OIC, you must complete the documents below relating to the Direct Debit Authorization (ADC):
These documents must be duly signed by all account holders and completed with authorization for the procedures to be carried out by the Bank for each of the credit products.
The account closure form should be sent to the email address fecharconta.pt@bbva.com. Alternatively, you may send it by registered mail to BBVA, SA - Sucursal em Portugal, A/C Controlo da Operativa, located at Av. da Liberdade 222, 4º Piso, 1250-148 Lisboa, or deliver it to a BBVA branch.
