How we can help companies
Within the scope of the Group's commitment to fight against climate change, in 2018 the BBVA Group announced its first sustainable funding target, mobilizing €100 billion between 2018 and 2025 to finance companies that present initiatives to combat climate change and promote more sustainable development. This objective was revised in 2021 and 2022, and currently stands at €300 billion.
Between 2018 and June 2022, 77% of sustainable finance was destined to climate action, namely climate change, and 23% to inclusive growth.
